Google I/O 2021, the company’s virtual conference for developers, is all set to kick off with a Keynote at 10:30 PM IST on May 18.
The conference will be headlined by details of the next Android version, with Android 12 expected to bring a major redesign for widgets and notifications. Google is also teasing a major update for Wear OS, which could bring new features to wearables.
While not confirmed, there is some speculation that Google could also talk about the upcoming Pixel 6, which sees a radical redesign. The Pixel Buds could also be featured.
Held in virtual form this year, the conference was completely cancelled last year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
