A handloom artisan from Andhra Pradesh has created a unique handwoven Indian flag without any stitches. It took Rudraksh Ramalinga Satyanarayan four months to make it with the help of other artisans. He used 2400 threads of three colours and Jamdhani and Paisani styles of handloom work. He gave extra attention to ensure that all the 24 spokes of the Ashok Chakra are clearly visible. He hopes that the Prime Minister will hoist the flag at the Red Fort. Satyanarayan shares that he spent over 6 lakhs to create the flag and even sold his house to incur the expenditure.
