Real Madrid has once again turned to their former manager Carlo Ancelotti as the 61-year-old returns to the Spanish club as the boss. The Italian manager replaces Zinedine Zidane, who quit last week after the team’s first trophyless season in more than a decade. Ancelotti coached Real Madrid from 2013 to 2015 and Zidane was his assistant during that period. The Spanish football club confirmed that Ancelotti has agreed to a three-year contract. Ancelotti has officially ended his stint with Everton in the Premier League as he responded to Real Madrid's distress call.
