Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who attended public rallies across poll-bound West Bengal on Sunday, said slammed chief minister Mamata Banerjee over the killings in Cooch Behar.
The BJP leader said the chief minister’s advice to gherao central forces instigated people to attack CISF personnel.
Calling the incident “nothing but genocide,” Mamata spoke to the families of the four villagers who were shot dead by CISF personnel at a polling booth in Sitalkuchi in the Cooch Behar district.
