AMD has officially launched its new lineup of Ryzen 5000 Series desktop CPUs, based on the updated 'Zen 3' architecture.
The next-gen processors use the same 7nm process but offer a 19 per cent increase in instructions per cycle, along with a complete redesign of the chip layout for lower latency and faster PC gaming.
AMD claims the Ryzen 9 5900X is nothing short of “the world’s best gaming CPU”, offering highest single-thread and multi-core performance of any desktop gaming processor.
AMD is starting with four new Zen 3 CPUs, which will be available globally starting at $299 for the entry-level Ryzen 5 5600X model from November 5th.
