Amazon used ex-govt officials to win lucrative contracts: Report

Top Amazon officials reportedly tried to manipulate the US government into handing them contracts worth billions of dollars. Emails retrieved by The Guardian show, that a top Amazon executive, privately advised Trump administration about the approach the government should take to build a new portal. The emails also offered insights on how Amazon used its executives and former employees of the govt, to gain influence and shape lucrative contracts for the firm even before the 'Amazon amendment' act was signed.
