Prime Now, Amazon’s 2-hour delivery app, is reportedly shutting down in India and will be replaced by Amazon Fresh. According to a Gadgets 360 report, while there has been no formal announcement by the tech giant, a message was displayed on the Prime Now app for users. The features of Prime Now will be incorporated into the main Amazon app. Prime Now was launched in 2016 as Amazon Now and was expected to make the transition to Amazon Fresh this year, which got delayed due to the Covid-19 outbreak. The reason, according to the report, is the lack of growth, which the company didn’t foresee initially.
