Amazon evaluating FDI norms, committed to Indian market

Amazon India has said that it is evaluating the new FDI norms announced by the government and is committed to long-term investment in India, transforming how the nation buys and sells. The statement comes on the heels of Flipkart approaching the centre to lay down a broad market-driven framework for the e-commerce sector. The govt on Wednesday had announced a series of norms to boost e-commerce sector, promote exports and help small traders.
