Zlatan Ibrahimovic signed a new one-year extension with AC Milan that will keep him playing beyond his 40th birthday. Ibrahimovic, who turns 40 in October, returned to the club at the start of last year which signalled a turnaround for Milan as they are currently second in the table and could see Ibrahimovic make a return to the Champions League next season. Milan, a seven-time European champion, has not played in the Champions League since the 2013-14 season but thanks to Ibrahimovic's 15 goals in 17 Serie A games this season, a Champions League return is likely.
