Lok Janshakti Party leader Chirag Paswan on Wednesday met Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashwi Yadav in Patna to invite him to the death anniversary of his father and Dalit stalwart Ram Vilas Paswan.

Paswan, who is a Lok Sabha MP, said he would invite all the leaders who have worked with his late father and he will also meet Lalu Prasad Yadav in Delhi.

The meeting comes after RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav had suggested an alliance between the LJP and his party, stating that Paswan should team up with his son Tejashwi.

Dodging queries about Lalu's statement, Tejashwi stated “he can’t say anything after what Lalu ji had said.”
