Actor Siddharth on 'Thackeray' trailer: Stop selling hate

Tamil actor Siddharth has called out the Marathi trailer of 'Thackeray', for spewing hate against south Indians. In one scene, which is missing from the Hindi trailer, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who plays Bal Thackeray, makes certain controversial comments while referring to south Indians. In a tweet, Siddharth said the film was selling hate with heroism and romance. The censor board had also raised objection to some of these dialogues, but the writer and co-producer of the film, Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut, has refused to make any changes.
