A piece of Eiffel Tower's staircase sold for €169,000

A piece of the Eiffel Tower's original staircase has been sold for €169,000 at an auction in Paris. A collector from the Middle East has bought the staircase with 24 steps which was removed from the Tower in 1983, when an elevator was installed.
