Amost 98 million Indians may have type-2 diabetes by 2030 according to a study published in The Lancet Journal. Urbanisation, ageing and dietary changes could be the potential reasons. Moreover, The amount of insulin needed to treat diabetes will rise by more than 20% worldwide. The number of adults with type-2 diabetes will rise to 511 million in 2030 across the world and most of them will be in China, India and the United States.
