75% of India's new recovered cases are in 10 states: Govt

The Health Ministry on friday said that 75% of the new recovered Covid-19 cases are concentrated in 10 States/UTs, which are Maharashtra, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, West Bengal, Delhi and Madhya Pradesh.
Of the 964 fatalities that have been reported in the past 24 hours, nearly 82% are concentrated in these 10 states.
In some good news, India on a steady trajectory of continuously declining active cases. Active caseload fell below 9 lakh for the first time after a month. Active cases have been falling in the country for the 6th consecutive day. Kerala also reported a drop in active cases for the first time in 17 days.
