7-year-old Virat Chandra, from Hyderabad, summited Africa's highest peak, Mt. Kilimanjaro on March 6, making him one of the youngest to achieve the feat.
Virat had to undergo rigorous training for 75 days before he could undertake the challenge. On his journey, he had to overcome many hurdles, including facing a lack of oxygen.
Even as a younger child, Virat was able to complete 10,000 steps a day, his father said, signalling his physical strength.
