Amid the rise in COVID-19 cases, the Supreme Court has come out with two separate notifications. The apex court judges will hold court via video conferences from home after as many as 44 of the court staff members tested positive for the Covid-19, PTI reported quoting sources.
The entire court premises, including courtrooms, are being sanitized. Also, the benches would sit one hour late from their schedule time in the morning. Physical mentioning of cases for urgent hearing by advocates has been suspended from Monday till further orders.
