Ducati has launched the third gen Hypermotard 950 in India. The new Ducati Hypermotard 950 RVE is priced at Rs. 12.99 lakh while the Hypermotard 950 SP is priced at Rs. 16.24 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom. The third-generation Hypermotard features a new trellis frame that’s lighter than before and also a single-sided aluminium swingarm. The new Hypermotard 950 gets an electronics suite with a 6-axis IMU that brings cornering ABS, Traction Control, Wheelie Control and more. The RVE variant comes with fully-adjustable Marzocchi front forks and an adjustable Sachs monoshock at the rear. The Hypermotard 950 SP gets fully-adjustable Ohlins suspension along with carbon fibre bits and forged Marchesini wheels. Power comes from the 937 cc Testastretta L-twin engine that now makes 113 bhp and 96 Nm of peak torque. 80 per cent of the engine's torque is already available at 3,000 rpm, says Ducati. Bookings for the new Hypermotard 950 are now open across the country.
