In the third such incident in 20 days, a three-year-old girl found dead in a sugarcane field in Uttar Pradesh's Lakhimpur Kheri on Thursday morning. Police said that the girls was raped and strangled. The girl was reported missing by her family on Wednesday. Her body was found near her village with signs of head injury. Earlier, a 17-year-old girl was raped and murdered outside her village. Her body was found in a dry pond near the village. Before that a 13-year-old girl was raped and strangled in the same district.
