Kamala Harris, who is Joe Biden's vice-presidential pick, took to her official Instagram account to flaunt her Indian roots. She posted a cooking video with actor Mindy Kaling, where both the women were making masala dosa and discussing three signs that one should look for in every Indian-American.
Pointing out the first point Harris recalled how her mother would store spices and other foods in it taster's choice jar which is originally an instant coffee jar. Second both the celebrities discussed how every other person is addressed as Uncle and Auntie in India. And finally, she says that every Indian eats lots of Dal while eating Dal-Roti in the video
