Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates on Tuesday assessed that 3 of the leading 6 Covid-19 vaccines will likely work by early next year. However, the philanthropist doubts how these candidates will work in terms of blocking transmission or avoiding sickness. Gates said, India will play a crucial role in ramping up the manufacturing of the Covid vaccine as the highest volume vaccine manufacturers in the world are located in India.
He released a report by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation that states the pandemic has halted and reversed the global health progress by 25 years.
