3 Indian Air Force officers who took part in the Balakot airstrikes last year have been awarded the Yudh Seva medal on the occasion of the 88th Air Force Day on Thursday. Squadron leader Minty Aggrawal, Group Captain Hansel Sequera, and Group Captain Hemant Kumar Vadsra have received the honour. Sq Leader Minty Aggrawal, the female recipient of the award was part of the team that guided Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman during the 2019 Balakot airstrikes that were carried out by the IAF.
