It was just the 1st Day of the Lord's Test and India is already dictating terms. Joe Root's decision to bowl first backfired as Rohit Sharma put on the Hitman mode. KL Rahul was watchful to start with and played second fiddle but when Rohit got out for 83, Rahul changed gears and became the aggressor. Meanwhile Cheteshwar Pujara once again failed to impress and was out for just 9, his 10th consecutive low score. Rahul though carried on and smashed his 6th Test hundred and 3rd vs England. Skipper Virat Kohli came out with intent, but his innings was cut short on 42 as India ended Day 1 at 276/3
