Aprilia India has updated its portfolio with the launch of the new 2022 SR 125 and the SR 160 scooters. AThe new Aprilia SR 125 is priced from Rs. 1.08 lakh, while the 2022 SR 160 is priced at Rs. 1.17 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom Pune. The updated range packs a new LED headlamp with DRLs. A fully-digital instrument cluster and a redesigned taillight. The model also gets a revised front cowl while the single seat has been replaced with split seats. Mechanically, the scooters remain the same. The SR 125 gets the same 125 cc, single-cylinder, three-valve engine that produces 9.78 bhp and 9.70 Nm of peak torque. The SR 160 also uses the familiar 160 cc, single-cylinder, three-valve motor that makes 10.86 bhp and 11.6 Nm of peak torque. Both scooters use 14-inch alloy wheels with telescopic front forks and a single shock at the rear. The new SR 125 is available in a single variant while the SR 160 gets three variants - Standard, Carbon, and Race.
