2-Day bank strike, how you may be affected

As 1 million bank employees go on a two day strike opposing the proposed privatisation of public sector banks. 

The countries largest bank SBI has assured customers that banking services will not be disturbed but here is what you should be prepared for -:

  1. Services such as deposits and withdrawal at branches could be delayed
  2. Expect delays in cheque clearances 
  3. Loan approvals due this week could be pushed back 

Private banks continue to function smoothly and branches and ATMs of all banks will remain functional.
