1984 anti-Sikh riots: Delhi HC upholds conviction of 88 rioters

The Delhi High Court has upheld the conviction of 88 convicts in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots in Delhi. The 88 convicts had been arrested in East Delhi’s Trilokpuri and had been sentenced to 5-year jail terms by a trial court in 1996. The convicts had been held guilty of rioting, burning houses and violating curfew by the trial court.
