August 18 will always remain a special day in Indian cricket as it was this date 13 years ago that a star stepped foot on the international cricket field and who knew back then that he would revolutionise World Cricket.

Virat Kohli may not be in the best of forms of late but the name is enough to still give nightmares to bowlers. With 22,937 runs under his belt in 438 international games, Kohli stamped his authority as one of the modern-day greats. He scored those runs on the back of 70 international hundreds, 3rd most behind Tendulkar and Ponting.

He may be yet to win an ICC trophy but Virat has already made a name for himself amongst the best captains in the game has ever seen. India's recent Test win at Lord's was his 37th as captain. Kohli overtook Clive Lloyd to become the 4th most successful skipper in Test history.

With his ultimate focus being Test cricket, Virat has transformed India into the best travelling side in the world. Virat Kohli isn't just a name that plays cricket but is already a demigod.
