A 102 carat diamond, about the size of an egg, is going under the hammer next month and it could fetch between $12 million to $30 million.

Dubbed as one of the rarest diamonds in the world, Sotheby's said the flawless white oval diamond is the second largest oval diamond to be offered at auction.

The diamond, discovered in Victor mine in Ontario, Canada will be sold on 5th October in Hong Kong, without a reserve price. It may become the most expensive jewel ever sold to an online bidder.
