As protesting farmers blocked the roads on Saturday to mark 100 days of their agitation against the Centre's new farm laws, the Congress launched a social media campaing against the ruling party. In a series of posts on Twitter with the hashtag '100 days of BJP's arrogance', Congress came down heavily on Centre for its crackdown on farmers, journalists and activists.
'It has been 100 days of farmer protests and with it has come #100DaysOfBJParrogance,' Congress tweeted and added that 248 farmers have died during the protest but the PM has not uttered a word of consolation.
As part of the campaign, the Congress also took a dig at the Centre over an international think thank downgrading India to a 'partially free' nation from a 'free nation' in its democracy report.
